Wow, I may have just found my new favorite go-to place here in McMinnville. Now I use to work at a pretty reputable Hawaiian restaurant in Portland, and so finding good quality Hawaiian food is always a struggle for me. This place however is next level! First off the portion I got was huge!! Secondly, the flavor of the meat is lighting my tastebuds up with so many delicious flavors it’s sensational. And lastly the service was quick, courteous, and professional. Highly recommend!
OMG DAaaaamn the food is fantastic. Smokey Kahului pork, pork adobo so well marinated and the best fried rice and Mac salad.
I have heard amazing things about this place and today was the day we decided to give it a try. Omg let me tell you..... The over the phone customer service was a 10 ! Diana I believe was her name was super friendly and explained everything. I also want to give a shout out to the cooks because let me tell you the food was amazing! We got our order to go and we live a little ways out, when we got home The crazy chicken was still crunchy!!!!! . We will def be back and will be recommending ! Thank you again for an amazing experience.
I stopped in McMinnville on the way to the coast with a friend for lunch. We spotted Hawaiian 503 restaurant by the sign on the street. Having lived in Hawaii we were excited to try some “local” food. We both ordered the shoyu chicken that came with mac salad and rice and it was ono! Enjoyed chatting a bit with the owner lady and we were very happy we stopped and would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area. Highly recommend.
On the main Avenue of McMinnville this unassuming restaurant dies big takeaway business. Steady stream of customers including many firefighters, who know good food. Traditional plate lunch had many meat options. The Teri chop steak and onions was delicious and beautifully cooked. Even better was the delicate meat of the Shoyu chicken. Rice and traditional macaroni salad was included. Better yet, the crazy chicken, a breaded and fried cutlet topped with a sweet sauce. They really know how to cook. The servings were huge. We have enough leftovers for two more meals, each! Great service, delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Adding a photo. Sorry, had started eating before remembering to take a pic.
Very delicious food. I'll have to come back to try the musubi though. The amount you get is insane. I love taking home leftovers. I'll spend the same at food carts and get a third of the amount. The location is nestled in a cool little area near the downtown shops.
While I was in McMinnville Oregon today, I stopped in at the Hawaii Five-O-three on Northeast 3rd St in McMinnville Oregon. I ordered a pork adobo bento (served with sticky white rice) and was floored! The tanginess of the pork when it's so beautifully with the texture of the rice! All that and a can of Dr pepper for 11! I will be back at Hawaii Five-0-Three Café in the future,!
I finally tried Hawaii 503 cafe today. Boy let me tell you, this place is pretty awesome!! I got Shoyu chicken, Mac salad, and fried rice. The portion sizes are huge. The flavor is Amazing . Went at lunch, but they were super fast!! Has now become my favorite eatery!!
